Chief Engineer (Air Force), Ahmedabad, Near Camp Hanuman Ahmedabad-380003, on behalf of President of India, invites applications from eligible enlisted Contractors of MES and enlisted/unenlisted Contractors working with other Departments meeting eligibility criteria for selection of Contractors for issue of tender for undermentioned work:-

Name of Work : PROVISION OF MOTORISED DOOR TO SWAC COMN FLT HANGER AT AHMEDABAD.

Estimated Cost : Rs. 116.00 Lakhs.

Completion Period : 06 Months.

Amount of Earnest Money for Contractors not Enlisted with MES : Rs. 1,74,000/- in the shape of Call Deposit Receipt from any Scheduled Bank. BGB not acceptable.
 
Cost of Tender : Rs. 1,000/- in the form of DD/Pay Order/ Banker's Cheque from any Nationalised Bank
in favour of GE (I) (AF) Gandhinagar payable at Gandhinagar.
 
Last Date of Receipt of Applications :   29 Nov 2010.

Eligibility Criteria:-
(a) For MES Enlisted Contractors : Class: 'B', Category: 'a'
(b) For Other Contractors : (i) Meeting enlistment criteria of MES with regard to having satisfactorily completed requisite value worte of similar nature, Annual Turnover, Working Capital, fixed
Assets etc. (ii) No recovery outstanding in Govt Deptt


Date of Issue of Tender : On or after 30 Nov 2010.


Date of Receipt of Tender  : 31 Dec 2010.

(i) Applications not accompanied by requisite value DD/Banker's Cheque towards Cost of Tender shall not be considered for issue of tender.
(ii) Enlisted contractor of MES below eligible class shall submit list of similar of work executed for last 7 years and Audited copy of financial turnover for last two years alongwith application. Issue of tender to below eligible class firm shall only be considered if sufficient applications from eligible class contractors are not received.
(iii) Contractors not enlisted with MES will be required to enclose necessary documents to prove their eligibility as given above such as

(a) List of work of similar nature carried out during last 7 years with performance certificate,
(b) Audited copy of financial turnover for last two years
(c) Affidavit for immovable/movable property with valuation report from Registered valuer,
(d) Copy of partnership deed or affidavit of proprietorship,
(e) List of T & P and affidavit of Technical Staff/Workmen held,
(f) Affidavit for no recovery outstanding in any Govt Dept
(g) Affidavit for no relation with any MES officials,
(h) Copies of performance certificate held.

(iv) In case of rejection of application for issue of tender, the applicant shall be refunded the cost of tender. However, Contractor may appeal to next higher Engineer Authority, i.e. HQ CESC Pune for rejection of his
application for issue of tender, whose decision shall be final and binding and Contractor shall not be entitled to any compensation whatsoever for non-issue of tender.
